France > Cognac · Founded 1863 · 1 drink
A Cognac house whose own pages carry the line independent since 1863. Its VSOP is Ugni Blanc, the youngest eaux-de-vie in the blend four years old, with part of the blend from Borderies, and it is the one producer here that names a barrel size: 350 litres, French oak of fine to medium grain, given a light French toast to keep the tannin low. The house publishes no ingredient statement and no tasting notes beyond a handful of words.
