Damm
Spain > Barcelona · Founded 1876 · 2 drinks
The Barcelona brewer behind Estrella Damm, founded in 1876 by August Kuentzmann Damm, whose name and signature are printed around the can. Its beer is sold as cerveza mediterranea de malta y arroz: barley malt, rice and hops, with the can adding that the barley comes from local farmers and is malted by Damm itself, and the rice is Mediterranean. Damm publishes a proper product page per beer with a split tasting note, a serving temperature and, on the alcohol-free, an IBU and an EBC. What it will not publish is an alcohol figure: the product page for the standard Estrella Damm gives none, and the only figure anywhere on Damm's own site is 5,4 % in its webshop. The can sold in Sweden is a different strength again.
