Distillerie Neisson

A family distillery at Le Carbet founded by two brothers, a merchant and a chemical engineer, the year after the first cane was planted. It runs an all-copper Savalle column in use since 1952, dismantled and rebuilt every year, fired by its own bagasse. In 1997 its white 55% was the first rhum to carry the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Martinique on its label.
