Maison Villevert
France · 1 drink
The house of Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, where Cîroc is distilled from French grapes — four passes in column stills and a fifth in a copper pot still. The founded column is empty because no founding year is published for the house; 2003 is the year the Cîroc recipe was created, which makes Cîroc a brand rather than a distillery. The producer's own pages place Villevert in Cognac on one page, in Bordeaux on another and in "the South of France" on both, and never name the grape.
