Rémy Martin

France > Fine Champagne · Founded 1724 · 2 drinks

A Cognac house founded in 1724, and the only producer on this sheet that publishes what is in the bottle: distilled grape spirit, water, sugar in trace amounts and caramel colour, with the last two marked as discretionary adjustments for style and consistency. No quantities are given. The XO is sold as Fine Champagne, which means Grande and Petite Champagne only, with at least half from Grande Champagne. The VSOP page lists the same four ingredients but drops the words trace amounts.
