Founded by Carlo Vietti at Castiglione Falletto in Piedmont at the end of the 1800s; his son Mario turned the farm into a quality wine producer from 1917. Bottled the single-vineyard Barolo Rocche di Castiglione in 1961 and has used artist-designed labels since 1974. Owned by the Krause family since 2016.
